About Chef Paula McDade

Chef Paula McDade has 20 years in the hospitality industry. Korean born and NoVa raised, she found her way to some of the top kitchens in New York and San Francisco.

In 2006, she attended the French Culinary Institute in NYC. She worked in both pastry and savory kitchens. She trained in the country’s best kitchens, including Gramercy Tavern in New York and Quince in San Francisco. Both restaurants have earned Michelin stars and James Beard awards.

For the last seven years, Paula was the Executive Chef at Luke’s Local Grocery in San Francisco, which opened 2 markets. She returned to the DMV in 2022 to start her own personal chef business.
